I was incredibly excited to shoot the Treasure Island Music Festival this year, and that really is an understatement. A music festival in my hometown, with one of the best festival lineups I’d ever seen, on a beautiful island in the middle of San Francisco Bay. The time of year made it so different from photographing Coachella, and that was fun too.
Even though the second day of the festival was plagued by rain, that was still OK by me (and my taped-up wellies)!
This was a really great experience for me, and so many great photos came out of it that I’ve had to split the entries in half. This entry encompasses the second day of the festival, and includes photos of The Ferocious Few (who played guerilla-style all weekend in various locations), Surfer Blood, The National and Belle and Sebastian.
